Rankwire: 02 October 2026; Colombo – SriLankan Airlines’ Flight Training team successfully delivered a specialized Airbus A330 Line Flying Under Supervision (LFUS) course for six senior pilots from Etihad Airways, highlighting the airline’s strong training and operational capabilities and reinforcing the professional ties between the two national carriers.

Participants included five Type Rating Examiners (TREs) and one Senior Type Rating Examiner (STRE) from Etihad Airways. The programme utilized SriLankan Airlines’ flight instructors, experienced crew members, and operational support teams to ensure a secure, efficient, and rewarding training experience for the visiting examiners.
